Cleaning For A Reason 2020

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a timely opportunity to highlight the heartfelt commitment that Two Maids & A Mop makes to cancer patients. If you, or someone you know, could use a helping hand during a fight with cancer, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us about our sincere offer to provide free cleaning services all year round.

Through our partnership with Cleaning For A Reason, the national nonprofit organization that offers cleaning services to cancer patients and their families as they battle this difficult disease, Two Maids & A Mop has supported hundreds of individuals nationwide. Since the program launched, Cleaning For A Reason has served more than 40,000 cancer patients, and we are proud to be part of making this meaningful difference in their lives.

Many franchisees from the Two Maids & A Mop family participate in this philanthropic partnership, supporting others could benefit from a little extra help around the house and having one less thing to worry about.

Dan Brosseau, a resident of Naperville, Illinois and franchisee with Two Maids & A Mop remembers cleaning a cancer patient’s home the very first day he launched his new business. “We partnered with Cleaning For A Reason to support local families battling cancer and to help make their home a place to heal and focus on family time,” said Dan. “I know how hard fighting cancer can be since my family has been directly impacted by this horrible disease. Our entire staff is proud to continue doing our part to make a difference for these households in their time of need.”

With COVID-19 still impacting our communities, these cleanings are even more important now than before, as cancer patients are especially vulnerable to the virus. This point is not lost on Christian Radakovich, owner of Two Maids & A Mop in Alpharetta, Georgia. “We are an essential business still cleaning and disinfecting homes and businesses during this difficult time,” Christian said. “We are equipped with our CDC approved disinfectant, as well as use of PPE (personal protection equipment). We all need to support each other to keep small businesses running and to help disinfect against this horrible virus, especially for those most vulnerable, like the cancer patients we serve.”

Cancer is an anxiety-ridden battle for patients and their families. Two Maids & A Mop is proud to do our bit to help alleviate some worry and to make home a place for peaceful recuperation. It’s a message we carry through Breast Cancer Awareness Month and beyond.
